Mitch McConnell, unite today and leave the fight for tomorrow. Right now, the country needs empathetic legislation bereft of "illogical" attempts to salvage the economy. While I fully understand the importance of getting America back to work, the question then becomes: What work? You're trying to cut the extra benefits when most states and cities around the country are only functioning at 50%. That's illogical and a vivid recipe for the downfall of your party. It's either open the economy FULLY, or continue to help the country in "logical" ways. These perilous times are no fault of any American, so why are your solutions entering the sphere of punishment? Millions are facing eviction tonight at midnight due to eviction protections ceasing and millions are still unemployed. Businesses are closed for good and the pandemic doesn't appear to be in the proximity of ending. For God sakes, save the country Mitch! We are all on the same vessel called America. If we fail, we fail together; but then we rebuild together. Don't let the despair of failure only lay at the feet of those on the bottom tier of the American family. The House has passed its bill. The ball is in your hands now and you're moving at the slowest pace imaginable. For God sakes: GET TO MOVING!! The clock is ticking and people's lives are in your hands. #SaveAmerica
